32.6 Additional programs with Flatpak
Flatpak is a Linux package format to provide applications as independent from an operating system as possible. Flatpak can be started from the start menu or from 'System Tools' and 'Software'. With first start also here program directories are referred, in order to be able to install software comfortably.
The search magnifier (title bar top right) can be used to search for applications.
Alternatively, software can be selected by category:
Programs installed with Flatpak are always saved to disk under /var/lib/vz/flatpak. If you want to remove all programs, you can delete all files in this folder.
