ArchivistaBox: complete installation in 1 to 2 minutes.

Try it out for yourself. Purchase one of the three ArchivistaBox CDs and use it to create a bootable CD. If you have purchased an ArchivistaBox, insert a USB stick. Then you can perform the installation by following the simple steps below.

First, a welcome screen is displayed. After 10 seconds, the setup continues.

If you wish to perform the installation in English, select ‘English (Standard)’. Click ‘OK’.

Confirm the hard drive detected. If there are several hard drives, please select the first one. If you wish to select several hard drives (even number), you can set up a hard drive array (software RAID). Click ‘OK’.

Specify the network settings. A fixed IP address is required. Click ‘OK’.

Confirm the installation with ‘Yes’. This starts the installation.

During installation you will receive several messages about the progress. This process takes approx. 30 to 60 seconds.

The installation is completed. Click ‘Yes’ to restart the computer. Note the default password ‘archivista’.

After restarting the computer (please remove the CD-ROM), you can select the desired keyboard settings during the initial start-up. This completes the installation.
